Recombination values of the interchange point in 18 translocations involving chromosome 10 with g and R are summarized and compared with the cytologically determined positions. Four translocations appear to involve the short arm; and thirteen are probably on the long arm; and in one, some of the genetic data are inconsistent with cytological data. Comparison of interchange positions on the long arm with T-g and T-R recombination values gave significant and highly signilficant correlation coefficients of - 0.71 and - .85 respectively. Recombinations in the g-R region were homogeneous for all translocations in which T-g reaombination exceeded two percent. The gene li is on the long arm, probably at least 0.1 of the distance from the centromere. The approximate order of the translocation points is indicated.
