Seeding rate of lentil remained constant (28 kg/ha) while wheat seed rates varied between 10-50 of the normal (90 kg/ha). Up to 27 kg (30) wheat seed sown per hectare, there was no adverse effect on the yield of lentil and at the same time an additional output of 550 kg/ha of wheat grain was obtained.
