12 ref.; Summary (En)
Organisms applied to corn, pea, and soybean seeds sown in the field influenced stands and yields. Stands varied from 65 to 177, and yields from 73 to 181 of those obtained from planting untreated seeds of the three crops. Fungicide-treated seeds of the three crops produced stands of 121 to 189 and yields from 106 to 129 of those from untreated controls. In some trials, Chaetomium globosum and Trichoderma harzianum on corn, Pencillium oxalicum on peas, and Trichoderma and Pseudomonas species on soybean gave yield increases over untreated seeds comparable to those from fungicide-treated seeds; however, greater variability occurred with organism-treated
