Examinations were made of hydrolytico-oxidative changes in lard of pigs fed silage prepared from unripe maize grain, fodder beetroots and potatoes. The lard was stored for one year at -21 degrees C. It was showed that lard from pigs fed silage containing mainly maize grain and fodder beetroots was most liable to oxidative changes. No significant influence of maize silage on hydrolytic changes was found
