520 | _aSeedling plants of parents, F 1 crosses, and F 2 populations were inoculated at the two-leaf stage with spores of Stagonospora nodorum in a humidity chamber to determine incubation period (IP), latent period (LP) and necrosis percentage (NP). Incubation period, LP, and NP exhibited polygenic inheritance and were controlled by 2-3, 3, and 1-4 genes, respectively. Each of the components of partial resistance showed moderate to high heritabilities. | ||
