N2  - This report summarizes the data of the Second Heat Tolerance Screening Nursery. It was sent in 1984 to be grown by cooperators in the 1984-85 season (37 nurseries in 23 countries). The 113 advanced lines and checks had been chosen from among CIMMYT's best materials. The way in which the seed for this international trial was selected, multiplied, handled, and shipped, as well as the instructions to carry out the trials, are mentioned. Results of this trial are presented in three forms: one international summary listing the sites from which data were returned; a table reporting the means of all observations from sites with uniform and discrete data for each
