In a yield trial evaluating resistance to M. graminicola, susceptible varieties suffered 20-50% yield loss, while yield loss of resistant crossbreds and varieties was 0-15%. Similar responses were observed in most lines for grain weight when assessed in M. graminicola-infected row plots. In P. nodorum-infected row plots, susceptible varieties suffered 30-50% grain weight loss, while resistant lines suffered 0-30% loss in grain weight depending on year of testing ER -
