This report examines the historical development of the system, the current organization for managing its operation and maintenance, the irrigation activities observed during field work, the system-level and national-level goals and the procedures for canal desilting and emergency repairs, and reviews the findings of the performance analysis. It investigates the internal processes of the system and the methods adopted to improve its effectiveness.
