Summaries (Ar, En) N2 - A diallel cross of durum wheat involving three varieties Hourani, Stork (equals Mexicali75) and wild Emmer Dicoccoides was made. Genetic studies were undertaken for protein content, plant height, tillers number, awns length, heading date and 1000 kernel weight in parents, as well as F sub(1) and F sub(2) generations. Combining ability indicated that all studied characters are quantitatively inherited and influenced by additive and non-additive gene action. Transgressive segregations at both sides were observed in plant height, awns length, heading date and 1000 kernel weight. Broad sense heritability ranged from 0.53-0.75, 0.78-0.93, 0.31-0.77 ER -
