Extracted particles separated by rate-zonal centrifugation into discrete peaks were spherical (13.5 nm/50 S; 18 nm/72 S; 25 nm/118 S), germinate (24 x 14 nm/72 S), and "triplet" (36 x 14 nm/90 S). Germinate and triplet particles banded in gradients of cesium sulfate at 1.29 g/cm-3; a band of 10 % -shrunken particles formed at 1.31 g/cm-3 T2 - Burnett, P.A. (ed.).
