Summary (En) N2 - Currently wheat yield is less in Pakistan than expected and the use of agricultural inputs is lower than the recommended level. This study was undertaken to determine the economics of various inputs used in wheat production and to measure the effect of changes in the prices of fertilizers and wheat on the optimal use of inputs. Results of the study indicate that farmers can substantially gain by increasing the use of nitrogen, phosphorous and tillage. Sensitivity analysis shows that an increase in the price of wheat and decrease in the price of fertilizers will lead increased wheat productivity through increased use of inputs T2 - Sarhad Journal of Agriculture (Pakistan).
