N2  - An analysis is made, of three years of yield trials of the durum wheat varieties, "Capeiti", "Abegao", "Cocorit 71", and "Brant 'S'", on the traditional area of this cereal crop. The data obtained in 1 or 2 years of yield trials, respecting other lines or varieties of tetraploid wheat included in the same layout (their performance will not be discussed here but is delayed, until the conclusion of 3 years under trial), is also presented. The conclusion of the higher grain yield of "Cocorit 71" compared to "Capeiti", is achieved. The characteristics of each variety in appreciation are also presented
