N2  - In field experiments carried out on heavy soil (good wheatland complex) 3 row spacings (6, 12, 18 cm), 3 sowing rates (400, 600 and 800 grains/sq.m) and two winter wheat varieties (Grana and Maria Huntsman) were investigated. Differentiation of row spacings had no practical influence on the grain yield but it had only a slight influence on the grain quality. The strongest effect on the grain quality exerted weather conditions
