Total DM accumulation rate, LAI, NAR, RGR, leaf area ratio and solar energy conversion were all greater with P. vulgaris sown in the maize rowsthan in alternate rows. Specific leaf area and leaf wt ratio were higher in P. vulgaris but not in maize when sown in the same row. Maize performed best with spacing at 0.25 m while spacing at 1 m with 4 plants/hill limited growth. Maize spacing did not affect P T2 - Revista Ceres ER -
