N2  - Genetic analysis of Chinese Spring aneuploids showed that NADH dehydrogenase1 was active as a monomer and was encoded by genes located on the p arms of group 4 chromosomes. The loci were designated Ndh A1 (on chromosome arm 4Ap), Ndh B1 (4Bp) and Ndh D1 (4Dp). The aromatic alcohol dehydrogenase 2 loci Aadh B2and Aadh D2 were located on 6Bq and 6Dq, respectively, Aadh A2 having been previously located on 6Aq
