Human and Financial Resources Devoted to Plant Breeding Research and Development in the United states in 1994" (K.J .Frey). This report is still the most recent data set available. It is not known how well the 1994 data reflect current investment. Both rapid progress in technology , and extensive structural changes in U .S. plant breeding are thought to have impacted plant breeding investment.
