This book describes the methodology of a field of biology that weds statistics and genetics and goes by the name of Statistical Genetics. Studies in this field began shortly after the rediscovery of Mendelian heredity in 1900 in the contexts of Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection. No doubt Darwin's theory is considered even to this day as the most profound intellectual achievement with no parallel in the history of human thought.
