A general equilibrium model, with an endogenous money creation mechanism, is constructed and econometrically estimated to analyse macro-economic linkages to agriculture in Sudan. Stronger economic performance is achieved when exchange rate adjustments and liberalisation are supported with fiscal and monetary control and less indirect taxation.
