The average temperature is quite similar in all of the wheat-growing areas of Bangladesh. The amount and distribution of the monsoon rains and the differences in soil texture and elevation affect the flood situation, which in turn affects the selection of cropping systems by the farmers; the cropping system has a great effect on wheat yields. The main management problems of wheat farmers are fitting wheat into the crooping system, land preparation, time of seeding, and fertilization
