CIMMYT. 1990. p. 39-4191-061813Summary: Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) is the most important virus disease of cereals in Britain, with early sown winter crops particularly at risk. The Rothamsted type BYDV isolates can be divided into three groups, which are serologically similar to the PAV, RPV, and MAV isolates of Rochow and also share similar aphid transmission specificities.
