The common bunt reactions of 102 varieties and hybrid selections of winter wheats submitted since 1956 to the cooperative uniform whet varietal trials in the western region are reported. The varieties are grouped according to the resistance factor(s) possessed as indicated by their reactions to seven key races. Thirty-eight varieties carriying either the combined Martin, Turkey or Rio, and Ridit resistance to all common bunt races.
