In: Zawadzki, S. (ed.). Polska Akademia Nauk, Warszawa (Poland). Wydzial Nauk Rolniczych i Lesnych. [Possibilties for increasing cereals production in Poland]. [Conference proceedings]. Mozliwosci zwiekszenia produkcji zboz w Polsce. Materialy z konferencji. Warszawa (Poland). Panstwowe Wydawnictwo Naukowe. 1984. p. 205-20887-001931Summary: In the three year experiment three strains of triticale (B 2061, MT 29515 and MT 3) were investigated at four nitrogen fertilization levels (0, 50, 100, 150 N per hectare) and three sowing rates (300, 400 and 600 germinating seeds per 1 sq.m). The optimum fertilization rate for all strains was 100 kg N per hectare. At increasing sowing rate from 300 up to 450 seeds per 1 sq.m the highest yield increments were obtained in the MT 3 strain on the average by 0.18 t per hectare. The factor limiting the triticale grain yield was a little amount of ears per area unit which irrespective of fertilization and sowing rate did not exceed 300 ears per 1 sq.m
