In: Genetica Polonica. Polish Journal of Theoretical and Applied Genetics v. 22, no. 2, p. 141-14783-852333Summary: This paper presents the pattern of heterochromatin bands in the rye chromosomes of the varieties Tetra-Czeslawickie, Tetra-Lubelskie and Triticale nakajima. The analysed forms of rye differ from one another by the size and distribution of telomeric and intercalary bands. A similar band pattern was found on the chromosomes 1R and 7R of the rye varieties Tetra-Lubelskie, Tetra-Czeslawickie and Triticale Nakajima. This suggests that the chromosomes 1R and 7R of the Tetra-Lubelskie rye originate from two parental forms: Tetra-Czeslawickie and Triticale Nakajima. (authors)
