Genetic analysis of storage proteins revealed that each of the two biotypes in the bread variety Perzivan-1 possesses a translocated 1DS segment carrying the Gli-D1 locus on the short arm of chromosome 1A. F2 grains from the cross between Perzivan-1 (biotype 2) and the bread wheat line DM-111 were analysed by three different electrophoresis procedures. The short arm of chromosome 1A of DM-111 was found to carry one w-gliadin locus, provisionally defined as Gli-A4, which is proximal to Gli-A1 and recombine with it a frequency of 10. On the basis of mapping data involving Glu-A1, Gli-A1, it was concluded that the transferred Gli-D1 locus is distal
