22 ref. Summary (En)
The effects of 25 combinations of urea (N), TSP (P) and gypsum (S) on the severity of leaf blight caused by Alternaria triticina, Drechslera sosorokiniana and Pseudomonas syringae on the susceptible wheat cultivar "Balaka" were determined, Severity of three leaf blights was scored separately by measuring the blighted areas of upper 9-15 leaves per plant (three leaves of each of 3-5 tillers per plant) with a total of 15 plants randomly selected in each unit plot. Increase in doses of N and P singificantly decreased the severity of Alternaria leaf blight (ALB) whereas the severity of Drechslera leaf blight (DLB) and Bacterial leaf blight (BLB)
