Biological method of obtaining hexaploid triticales and their cytogenetics. V. characteristics of F2 triticales
Material type: ArticleLanguage: En Publication details: 1982Subject(s): In: Soviet Genetics v. 18, no. 6, p. 727-732609968Summary: Among 19 F2 hybrids from crosses of the type (wheat X rye) F1 X triticale (2n morphological characters (especially of the ear) and grain set. Information is given on their proportion in the populations and on their yield in relation to their parents and weather conditions. The triticale group included both euploid and aneuploid types. The euploid type had high grain number/ear in all populations. The percentage of euploids was 81.4-91.8% with AD1 as the pollinator triticale and 75.4-83% with AD206 as the pollinator.
