Un proyecto de desarrollo agrícola es una intervención que busca mejorar la situación económica y social de los productores y de su familia en el área de acción del proyecto, satisfaciendo al mismo tiempo el « interés general » de la sociedad a nivel nacional. Para diseñar un proyecto o programa de desarrollo a nivel local, regional o nacional, es preciso realizar un diagnóstico previo a fin de poder definir objetivos y estrategias de intervención acordes con las necesidades identificadas. Un diagnóstico agrario debe ayudar a identificar los distintos elementos (agroecológicos, técnicos, socio-económicos…) que condicionan las elecciones de los productores de una zona, y, por consiguiente, la evolución de sus sistemas de producción. Este documento pretende aportar métodos y herramientas para la realización de diagnósticos agrarios explicativos, aplicando el enfoque sistémico al análisis del medio rural. Se divide en 7 Unidades cuyo contenido básico resumimos aquí. |
