En el presente trabajo al mismo tiempo que se presenta un análisis de crecimiento y rendimiento de grano de 30 genotipos de trigo, se discuten y analizan diversos parámetros fisiológicos, así como su influencia y su relación con el rendimiento. Se encontró que el rendimiento está relacionado con la eficiencia de cada genotipo en la distribución de materia seca para formar grano (índice de coseca = ic) y que esta eficiencia guarda una relación inversa con la altura de la planta. Además, independientemente del rendimiento final de los genotipos estudiados, el peso de grano es igual al aumento de peso seco total en el periodo de las post-antesis. Sin embaro, el rendimiento parece estar controlado más por el número de grano por m2 y la capacidad asimilatoria de estos granos (sink strength), que por la capacidad fotosintética de los genotipos. |
