The Seventh IBYT was distributed in 1984-85 to be grown by cooperators in their spring season of 1985 (53 nurseries in 31 countries). The IBYT comprised advanced lines and varieties chosen from among CIMMYT's best materials and nominations from plant breeders in different parts of the world.
