2 tables; 8 ref. Summaries (En, Sr)

In the examination of chemical composition and quality of silages of three early maize hybrids, ZPTC 111, ZPTC 125/9 and ZPTC 113, sown after wheat harvesting, and produced in conditions of dry summer with minimal irrigation. The silages are made without or with addition of probiotic Microsil. The highest content of dry matter was in the silages of ZPTC 111 hybrid - 26.78. The other two hybrids had dry matter content lower then 25. The protein content was high in silages of all hybrids and hybrid ZPTC 113 had the highest content (12.51 in dry matter). The best quality had the silages of hybrid ZPTC 111 (Flieg mark 96 points) and the worst silages of hybrid ZPTC 113 (84.67 points) which had higher percentage of acetic acid in total acids
