Utilizacion de dietas con distintos cereales por conejos en cebo Utilization of diets with different cereals by growing-fattening rabbits - 1985 - Printed

Numerical data; 10 ref. Summaries (En, Es)

84 New Zealand young rabbits were used to study the relative value of the most used cereals in rabbit diets: oat, barley, maize and wheat. Four diets were elaborated, one for each type of cereal, with similar chemical composition, except of starch, and with a cereal level of 33 p. 100. There were not found significative statistical differences among diets either on daily weight gain, or on feed conversion rate, or on digestive parameters studied. It can be concluded that traditional chemical analysis is enough to evaluate the relative value of the cereals studied and that cereal level in rabbit diets can be increased up to 33 p. 100 without
