The names Sphaerella opuntiae and Plectosphaerella cucumerina are transferred to Monographella. Their anamorphs and Fusarium dimerum are classified in Microdochium. The relationship of Monographella to Nectria, Monographus, Dicostroma and Lepteutypa is discussed.
